Mon 7th Feb 2011 | Football Stadiums & Facilities
Northampton Town Football Club have announce the appointment of Paul Tyrrell as the club's new Conference and Banqueting Manager, as the club brings that part of its operation back in house.
Paul, who was previously the Facilities and Banqueting Manager for the Park Inn Hotel in Northampton as well as the Restaurant and Bar Manager at Gala Casino also in Northampton, will start his new role immediately.
"I am very pleased to welcome Paul to the club," said Chairman David Cardoza.
"Paul has lived and worked locally for a number of years and has a wealth of experience in this role.
"He understands both the football industry and the conferencing side of things. He has helped us out at the last two home games and he has fitted in very well.
"Paul will help us to progress the Conference and Banqueting side of the business with his experience, contacts and knowledge and he is a key appointment for us.
"As part of our plan to take the club forward, we are now in a position to take this part of the business back in house, but to make a success of that, we need the right staff in place and I am very pleased to welcome Paul."
