Team England have raised over £1.3million for good causes following the squads decision to both donate their match fees and dedicate their time to chosen charity partners including Children’s Hospices UK, WellChild and the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK. In addition to supporting the other charities, the TEFC has launched its own Outreach Programme that uses football to improve opportunities for disadvantaged children and young adults across the country.
Terry Byrne, 1966 Chairman said "We have big plans for 2011 so we are delighted that the Sports PR Company will help us manage all our media relations work; especially in regard for looking after all the media the players do on behalf of their chosen charities. The players will be making some exciting announcements in the New Year.”
