Marine AFC search for new sponsors
Mon 6th Dec 2010 | Football Sponsorship
Evo-Stik Premier League side Marine have announced that they are to begin the search for new shirt and stand sponsors for next season and beyond.
The club’s existing sponsorship with North West based property development company Maghull Group is to finish at the end of the current football season after four seasons.
Previously Marine has enjoyed continuous shirt sponsorship with various national companies and brands for over twenty years including O2, Johnsons the Cleaners, Arriva, Boddingtons and Murphy’s.
New sponsorship is being sought for a minimum of two seasons, from season 2011/12 and the shirt and stand sponsorship can be negotiated as a combined package or separate.
Marine has been voted the National Non League Community Club of the Year in both 2009 and 2010 and is currently placed just outside the play off positions in the Evo-Stik Premier League.
Marine Chairman Paul Leary said:
“The relationships between Marine Football Club and its sponsorship partners have proved hugely beneficial for both the sponsor and the Club.
“Every sponsorship arrangement has seen a developing relationship with the sponsor that in most cases has resulted in agreements being extended beyond the minimum two years and the successful tie-ups with Johnsons the Cleaners, Arriva and now the Maghull Group demonstrates this.
“This is an excellent opportunity for either a local, north-west based or national company to become sponsors of Liverpool’s senior non-league football club and I would welcome enquiries from interested companies.”
