Soccerex to be seen by over 850m worldwide.

Soccerex are delighted to confirm that all the action from the Soccerex Global Convention 2010 - the first to be held in Rio de Janeiro – will be broadcast to a combined audience of over 850 million people worldwide, following agreements with 8 different broadcasters.
Taking place on 20-24 November, in a variety of glamorous locations around Rio’s picturesque coastline, the event will bring together a mixture of world football’s decision makers and former stars for an unforgettable 5 day event.
Long term supporters, Sky Sports will once again be screening the Soccerex Global Convention show, to a UK and Western European audience. In addition, the following broadcasters are showing the 2010 programme.
- Fox Sports – USA
- Global TV – Canada
- Al Jazeera – Middle East
- SingTel – Far East
- ESPN Star – India and Far East
- Astro – Malaysia, Thailand and Brunei
Soccerex are also finalising discussions with leading host broadcasters in Australia. Furthermore leading Brazilian broadcaster, Globo TV have confirmed they will be broadcasting live from the Football Festival and Conference through its specialist sports channel SporTV.
Commenting on the expanded broadcast schedule, Soccerex CEO, Duncan Revie said:

The Soccerex Global Convention will be held in Rio de Janeiro annually from 2010 to 2013. The event will feature a two day football festival - including an international legends tournament - on Copacabana Beach and a three day programme of conference, exhibition and networking events on Forte de Copacabana.
The social highlight is the Soccerex Extravaganza taking place on Sugar Loaf Mountain, where the 40th anniversary of Brazil’s 1970 FIFA World CupTM will be commemorated, including an appearance from that legendary Brazilian team.
