QPR ANNOUNCE NEW BUSINESS PARTNER

Fri 1st Oct 2010 | Marketing & PR

Queens Park Rangers Football Club is delighted to officially announce TalkTalk as our new Business Partner on a five year deal.

TalkTalk have invested a six figure sum into the Club, which will see them gain access to corporate hospitality facilities as well as supplying cutting edge technology for the benefit of staff and fans and providing business support across all areas of communication through its b2b division, Opal.

The TalkTalk Telecom Group PLC ('TalkTalk Group') is one of the leading fixed line voice and broadband telecommunications businesses in the UK.

QPR's Deputy MD, Ali Russell, said: "We're absolutely thrilled to have TalkTalk on board to support our current blue chip partners at the Club.

"This deal ensures that we will have the latest technology to deal with our customers' current and future needs.

"Local partnerships are very important to QPR and we look forward to building business on behalf of TalkTalk."

Tristia Clarke, Commercial Director, TalkTalk, said: "This is a strong partnership for TalkTalk and adds real value to our business through the club's first rate hospitality and catering facilities. Linking to a club with such an ambitious vision also fits very well with our own business ideals, and as such, we are delighted to be affiliated."

TalkTalk will reap the benefits of the first class hospitality on offer in W12, as well as using Loftus Road as a business reference site for their clients.

In addition, the deal will further enhance the relationship that QPR in the Community Trust currently shares with TalkTalk, following the success of our Coach The Coaches scheme. The initiative forms part of TalkTalk Group's commitment to the communities in which it operates and involves sponsoring 20 employees to achieve their FA Level 1 Coaching badge. Once qualified, they will provide training to 5-15 yr olds in the local community.
