Verteda Brings Precision To Events At Vitality Stadium

Tue 26th Sep 2017 | IT & Technology

Black Label Events, the conference, events and hospitality provider for Premier League team AFC Bournemouth, has deployed a leading-edge solution from Verteda Ltd.

Acknowledged as experts in providing world-class innovative hospitality solutions, Verteda has launched its eVents500 software system, helping Black Label Events save time, increase revenues and deliver outstanding service before, during and after events in the Vitality Stadium.

“We chose Verteda based on its reputation in the industry for working with other stadiums, plus recommendations from customers using eVents500, including Southampton FC,” says Diane Rackley, Black Label Events.

Previously, her team used a manual paper-based approach: time consuming and prone to human error.

The eVents500 solution has massively reduced the time and effort involved in providing quotes, managing, billing and re-booking meetings and events, improving accuracy and eliminating duplication of data entry while providing new business reports.

Rackley says rollout was smooth, with Verteda providing 2 days training onsite.

“We’re a small team,” she continued, “and eVents500 is like having your own Personal Assistant, always up-to-date and on the ball. It remembers everything, guides you, and enables you to manage the whole process.

“We save time and resources, delivering improved service while reducing manpower requirements.”

‘The Cherries’, were promoted to the Premier League for the 2015-16 football season and boasts conferencing, meeting and matchday venues in the Vitality Stadium which include the Champions Top Floor Restaurant (200 guests), Bubbles Champagne Lounge, 14 VIP Hospitality Boxes for smaller meetings, Balfour Suite (up to 300 guests), MacAlister Suite and the Boardroom.

Black Label Events is also responsible for foodservice in the concourse areas.

Rackley adds, “eVents500 means we respond to enquiries and provide quotes far more quickly and professionally.

“Potential customers are clearly impressed, it gives them confidence, so we’re winning more business: higher revenues with more confirmed bookings. And we’re just getting started: eVents500 has far more to offer, in terms of analytics, to better support our business.”

Matthew Prosser, Sales Director, Verteda, added: “We’re delighted that Black Label Events chose eVents500 for AFC Bournemouth, and very pleased it made that decision based on recommendations from other Verteda customers.

“With conferences, events and meetings an increasingly important part of the mix for stadia and arena, the innovation and professionalism that eVents500 brings have been demonstrated time and time again.”
