Histon FC reveal new chairman

Histon Football Club have announced that local businessman Russell Hands will become the club’s new chairman, 20 years after leaving the job.
The club have been without someone in the role since Tony Roach quit at the beginning of April.
Hands, told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "The club's lost its heart. We're trying to create a family atmosphere that used to be here."
Having suffered nine months of uncertainty after long-term chairman and figurehead Gareth Baldwin called time on his stay at the Cambridgeshire side in November with boss Steve Fallon soon following before Roach's eventual departure left a black hole in the club's management.
Since then director Angelo Dama has been overseeing the day-to-day running of the club while the experienced John Beck, who used to be Fallon's assistant, has started to stamp his mark on the squad.
"If I'm honest, I would have liked to have been behind someone else doing the job," Hands added.
"But Angelo and the guys felt that I was the man. And they cheated and spoke to my wife, and she said 'give it a go'.
"If you look after the players, make sure they're happy, then they'll give John what he wants and give the club what it wants."
Beck has spent the summer reassembling his side almost from scratch, but now looks to have created a squad made up of experienced first-teamers, youngsters, trialists and loanees.
