Seamus O達rien, CEO, World Sports Group to speak at Soccerex Asian Forum

Soccerex are pleased to announce that Seamus O’Brien, CEO, World Sports Group, will be speaking at the Soccerex Asian Forum. This announcement is the latest in a series of recent big names confirmed to take part in the Forum.
As CEO of Asia’s leading sports marketing, media and event management company, Seamus is a key figure in the development of sports in Asia. He will be utilising his extensive experience to join Fernando de Matos, Director Sponsorships and Alliances, VISA International Asia Pacific Region, Mike Rich, CEO, Group M and Ian Ayre, Commercial Director, Liverpool FC on the ‘Respect the Market’ panel.
They will be looking at the intricacies of the Asian fan base and the importance of respecting Asian business codes and practices as part of a strategy to grow business in Asia.
“There is significant potential for football in Asia,” comments Seamus when asked about the event, “as we have seen here at the World Sport Group, and detailed knowledge of the Asian market shouldn’t be underestimated. I’m looking forward to the Asian Forum both to share my experience from a marketing and media perspective, and to continue to build upon our extensive Asian relationships, from our headquarters here in Singapore.”
Other big names now confirmed for the conference programme include Edward Ying, Chief of Content and Media Services, SingTel and Craig Dobbs, Executive VP, Programming and Production, ESPN STAR Sports who will both be speaking on the ‘Unlocking the Asian Market: Broadcasting & Betting’ panel.
The two day event (28-29 July) will be held at the Raffles City Convention Centre, Singapore and as well as a packed conference schedule it will feature an exhibition and a large range of formal and informal networking opportunities.
