Match Day hospitality at the Crown Ground wins award for 2009/10 season.

Accrington Stanley Football Club have won first prize in their category for the official Football Hospitality Awards 2010 in association with Stadium Experience.com. The League two side which dramatically improved the match day hospitality for the 2009/10 Season by partnering with local bakery Clayton Park Bakery based on Clayton Park industrial estate (Clayton-Le-Moors) won the award for the ‘Director’s Choice in League 2’’ Category.

Commenting on the award Commercial Manager Martin Edmundson said;”It’s an honour to win this award. The achievement marks just one of the developments taking place throughout the club and we are proud to be selected number one by the visiting Directors.”

Whilst Clayton Park Pies will remain to provide catering for the external outlets and bars for the upcoming season at the Crown Ground, Accrington Stanley are currently entertaining proposals from catering contractors to provide full catering and service for next season’s hospitality and sponsorship guests in the Crown Ground’s newly decorated Sport’s Bar. Speaking on the stadium development Operations Manager Neala Barker said: “Match day hospitality has increased dramatically over the past season so the club raising the standards to accommodate the higher demand.”
