Fri 5th Jul 2013 | Football Club Administration
Ever wondered where to go to buy a football club? Well look no further than BusinessesForSale.com.
Troubled club, Hearts of Midlothian, who were placed into administration last month, is being advertised for sale on the business for sale website, BusinessesForSale.com.
BDO, who were appointed to oversee their administration have taken the unusual step to advertise the club on the website after they had had announced that potential buyers had two weeks to lodge bids for the Edinburgh-based club.
Founded in 1874, Hearts are one of Scotland's oldest clubs and have won the Scottish league title four times.
Co-founder and technical director of BusinessesForSale.com, Andrew Markou says: "We're delighted that BDO has chosen to advertise Hearts of Midlothian on BusinessesForSale.com.
"With one million buyers a month visiting our site and Hearts being one of Scotland's most famous football clubs, there's every chance of BDO finding more bidders."
