fcbusiness form partnership with Impact Sports Recruitment

Mon 23rd Jan 2012 | Football Club Management

fcbusiness are delighted to announce a new and unique partnership with Impact Sports Recruitment. Working together, the partnership will become an expansion to the services both fcbusiness and Impact Sports Recruitment currently offer the UK football industry.

Together, fcbusiness and Impact Sports Recruitment will operate ‘fcbusiness: recruitment’, offering football clubs and businesses involved in football a valuable resource for their recruitment needs.

fcbusiness Editor, Ryan McKnight explains why there is a need for the partnership:

“Football is a stand alone industry in the same way as retail, manufacturing or healthcare are. Over the years I have observed how recruitment into the industry has occurred and realised that more can be done to increase the professionalism within the industry.

“Whether it is a role as a Chief Executive or as a more junior member of staff, we want to help the industry and the organisations within it make the right appointments that are going to have the maximum impact for their business as well as the industry as a whole.

“The volume of decisions in football that require emotional reflection is huge compared to any other industry in the country. Individuals require not only normal business acumen to succeed but an appreciation of the football industry beyond mere observation as perhaps a supporter.”

Richard Graham of Impact Sports Recruitment also commented on the partnership:

“The success of any recruitment endeavour relies on some key components coming together; a detailed knowledge of the market, the right network of connections and the experience and ability to use these elements to their best effect.

“Together, Impact Sports Recruitment and fcbusiness can offer organisations within football an unparalleled level of service and access to the talent pool right across the globe.  Impact Sports Recruitment, as part of Rushmans Group, can draw on more than 25 years experience in the sports market and a vast network of connections on every continent.

“I don’t believe that there is another recruitment consultancy in the world that can offer the quality of access to the football sector that this new partnership between Impact and fcbusiness is able to deliver. I am convinced that we have put together a winning team.”
