Brighton sign up new shirt sponsorship deal
Thu 12th May 2011 | Football Sponsorship
Brighton & Hove Albion have announced that brightonandhovejobs.com will be the club's new shirt sponsor for the first season at the American Express Community Stadium.
The local online job specialists - founded by former Albion schoolboy Gary Peters - will replace IT First, who sponsored Albion for the last three seasons at Withdean.
Chairman Tony Bloom said, "I am delighted we have yet another high-profile Brighton & Hove company on the shirt - and I thank Gary Peters and all at brightonandhovejobs.com for their support and sponsorship.
"They have already been key contributors to the club as huge supporters of Albion in the Community and assisting us in our staff recruitment as we gear up for the Amex - and we now look forward to working closely with them in the years to come."
Peters, who is also a trustee of Albion in the Community, added, "As a lifelong Brighton fan, I am delighted to be working with the club, especially in these very exciting times.
"We are the only jobs board in the country to exclusively support and promote its local area and this is something we are very proud of.
"Entering into this partnership will give us access to a much wider audience which will considerably raise our awareness, both locally and regionally.
"This is a huge leap forward for BrightonandHoveJobs.com and we are keen to continue and demonstrate our ongoing support for our local club.
"We're so proud of the club and along with the rest of the city, we cannot wait for the first game at the Amex Stadium!"
Meanwhile Bloom added, "I would also like to take this opportunity to thank IT First for their support for the last three seasons.
"I am delighted Paul Goldsmith and his team will continue to support and sponsor the club at the Amex, with Paul one of our box holders."
