High court rules in favour of RBS

Wed 13th Oct 2010 | Legal

The High Court has ruled in favour of RBS, paving the way for the sale of the club to New England Sports Ventures (NESV).

‘judge rules mandatory injunction wanted by RBS against owners is granted; sale can go ahead’

The ruling now means that the board can press ahead with the sale of the club to NESV. The decision will be welcomed by the fans who feared the club would be placed into administration should Hicks & Gillett be successful in their appeal.
