Doncaster Rovers have announced that One Call Insurance will become the new Club Sponsor from the 2010/11 season, in a substantial three year sponsorship deal which will see the One Call Insurance logo on the front of the famous Red and White Hooped Shirt.
Laura Whiting, Commercial Manager of Doncaster Rovers said “As a club we are committed to giving back to the local community and it was important to all of us that our new Club Sponsor was a local organisation who shared that commitment to the Club and to Doncaster as a whole, and in One Call Insurance we have found that partner.”
One Call Insurance are a partners of the club already and have been associated with Doncaster Rovers kit before, previously sponsoring the Club’s shorts in 2008 when the Club won promotion to The Championship.
On welcoming One Call Insurance, Doncaster Rovers Chairman John Ryan commented “I am delighted to welcome One Call Insurance as Club Sponsor of Doncaster Rovers. One Call Insurance are great friends of the Club and have been part of our success in the past and I’m sure will see even more success over the next three years.
As part of the agreement One Call Insurance will see their branding on both Doncaster Rovers home and away shirts for the next three years, plus training wear and replica kits. One Call Insurance will also have a regular supply of tickets for matches which they are looking to distribute throughout the local community, along with advertising and hospitality rights.
John Radford, Managing Director of One Call Insurance said “We are delighted to be sponsoring our local team, Doncaster Rovers. Doncaster Rovers place a huge emphasis on building community links and keeping local roots. As an organisation we share these beliefs and hope that our sponsorship will enable both parties to be able to develop a strategy that will benefit the whole of Doncaster.”
“One Call Insurance continues to grow as a company and are one of Doncaster’s largest employers, employing over 150 staff. We hope the recognition we receive from being associated with a successful Championship Club like Doncaster Rovers will enable us to develop further on a national level.”
“As fans of Doncaster Rovers ourselves, we will also be looking at ways to get more Doncaster people supporting their local club and enjoying a fantastic experience on a Matchday by using elements of our sponsorship package to develop promotional incentives”
