Forest clinch shirt sponsorship deal

Online bookmaker and gaming company Victor Chandler will continue to be Nottingham Forest Football Club’s official sponsor until 2012.
The new two-year deal follows on from a successful first season as shirt sponsor with the soccer club currently placed third in the Coca-Cola Championship, the second tier of English soccer, and evens to gain promotion to the Premiership on Victor Chandler's website.
Victor Chandler, chairman of the company that bears his name was optimistic about Forest's chances: “This season has been a huge success and I am confident the team will secure promotion to the Premier League.
“The global television coverage of the Premier League offers worldwide media opportunities and will benefit our Far East business particularly,” he added. Chandler risks a pay-out of up to £6 million should Forest win promotion to the Premier League as champions: he has pledged to renew all Forest fans' season tickets should Billy Davies' team win the Championship.
The club's chief executive Mark Arthur said: “We are delighted Victor Chandler has agreed to extend the sponsorship agreement for a further two years.”
