CWF becomes official drinks partner of Huddersfield Town

Tue 2nd Aug 2011 | Football Sponsorship

Huddersfield Town has today announced that Continental Wines and Food (CWF) has become a new partner of the Club ahead of the 2011/12 season.

Huddersfield based CWF is a leading wine and alcoholic drinks importer, producer, bottler and distributor with a focus on quality, innovation and service.

As part of their deal as official wine suppliers of the Club, CWF will supply wine and champagne to Canalside for the next year. The wine can be bought as of today from the Canalside bar and will be available for Town fans on matchdays throughout the upcoming season.

Furthermore, CWF will also cater for the Stadium, with their wine being available for Town fans on matchdays during the 2011/12 season in the White Rose Suite.

CWF were also one of over 40 companies who kindly donated money towards Chairman Dean Hoyle’s Play-Off Final ticket initiative for school kids at the end of last season.

Town’s Commercial Director Sean Jarvis is pictured alongside Managing Director of Kirklees Stadium Development Ltd Gareth Davies and Managing Director of CWF John Shinwell at the bar in the White Rose Suite at the Stadium.

Town’s Commercial Director Sean Jarvis commented: “We are delighted to welcome CWF as official partners of the Club, since their donation to the ticket initiative we have liaised closely with them to secure a deal for the 2011/12 season.

“The partnership illustrates the strength of the Club’s business profile at the moment, to attract a company of the stature of CWF who work with the likes of Morrisons and Tesco is a massive coup for the Club.

“I am looking forward to developing our partnership with CWF over the coming months to benefit both the Club and Town fans everywhere”.

John Shinwell Managing Director of Continental Wines and Foods added: “We are delighted to have secured a deal to be the Club’s official wine suppliers throughout the 2011/12 League One campaign.

“Huddersfield Town has made great strides on and off the field over the last couple of years and we are pleased to become a part of their impressive business portfolio.

“We wish the Club and all the Town fans the very best during the upcoming season and hope it ends in promotion!”
