How to chair a top flight club with Niall Quinn

Niall Quinn, the much loved former Irish international and well respected current Chairman of Sunderland AFC, will be speaking to the 1,000 strong crowd of delegates that will be attending the 4thLeaders in Football conference taking place at Chelsea FC on 5th and 6th October 2011.
The Conference is just around the corner, with Quinn joining a long list of other high profile speakers including FIFA Executive Committee members, Dr Michel D’Hooghe and Jim Boyce; Chairman of Chelsea FC, Bruce Buck; the independent Chairman of The Football Association, David Bernstein; former Prime Minister of Belgium and now Chairman of the UEFA Financial Fair Play Panel, Jean Luc Dehaene; and Chairman of the Football League Greg Clarke.
Quinn will be sitting, alongside the owner of Stoke City FC and Bet 365 Peter Coates, on the panel discussing the role and duties of a club Chairman.
Niall Quinn had a long and successful senior career, from 1983 to 2002, and played for Arsenal, Manchester City and Sunderland, as well as being one of Ireland’s highest scoring international players. In 2006 Quinn successfully brokered a deal to buy a controlling stake in Sunderland AFC, and under him the club has returned to Premiership football.
