UEFA and PL 2012 to address Euro 2012 opportunities

Soccerex are pleased to announce that Marcin Herra, President, PL 2012 and Martin Kallen, Euro 2012 Director, UEFA will be taking part in a panel discussing the commercial opportunities and challenges of the fast approaching Euro 2012 tournament at the Soccerex European Forum, 30-31 March, Manchester.
With only 14 months to go until the tournament kicks off the football world’s attention is focusing on the host nations of Poland and Ukraine. In the panel titled “Euro 2012 – The Final Strait”, Martin Kallen and Marcin Herra, two of the people directly responsible for ensuring the success of the tournament, will look at the remaining commercial opportunities and challenges that lie ahead in staging UEFA’s showpiece event.
The announcement comes the same week that UEFA launched their ticket sales for the tournament with ticket applications from 600,000 people from 161 countries being received by Tuesday alone. With only 550,000 tickets available there will be a lottery held to decide the recipients.
This highly topical subject is part of a diverse agenda reflecting the latest issues in European Football including Financial Fair Play, sponsorship, rights holder relationships, digital media and fan interaction and International FA development.
