Chairman Dean Hoyle Completes Transfer Of Huddersfield Town Shares
Tue 2nd Mar 2010 | Clubs Ownership
Dean Hoyle, Ken Davy and the Directors of Huddersfield Town are all pleased to announce the completion of the transfer to Mr. Hoyle of all the remaining shares held by Mr. Davy and Andrew Watson in Huddersfield Town Association Football Club Limited. Mr. Hoyle is now 100% owner of the Club.
Mr. Davy has ceased to be a Director of the Club and has now been appointed Life President of Huddersfield Town in recognition of services to the Club; in particular his achievements in taking the Club out of Administration in 2003 and building the foundations of the future and success of Town during his time as Chairman.
Ownership of KSDL (the owner of the Galpharm Stadium)
The agreement, previously announced, for the transfer of the 40% shareholding in Kirklees Stadium Development Limited (KSDL) from Huddersfield Sporting Pride Limited to Huddersfield Town Association Football Club Limited remains in place. Completion of this transfer remains subject to the approval of Kirklees Council.
This approval was requested formally early in January this year. However, to the great disappointment of all concerned, this consent has not yet been forthcoming. Discussions with the Council continue to try to seek a satisfactory resolution.
