Huddersfield Town Staff Wear Red For Hollybank!

Fri 26th Feb 2010 | Marketing & PR

Huddersfield Town Club Ambassador Andy Booth visited Hollybank Trust yesterday to help them prepare for their ‘Wear Red’ day!

Boothy, who is also a Champion for the Trust, took over a few of Town’s red and navy away strip for the staff to wear, which is particularly apt – Hollybank’s logo appears on the back!

Andy is pictured with Holly Bear, the official mascot of Hollybank Trust, along with Nicky Doyle and Lisa Russell of the Trust.

Hollybank created the ‘Wear Red’ day to help raise funds towards the vital work they undertake with some of society’s most vulnerable members – children and adults with complex physical disabilities. The office staff at Town are taking part today, with all staff members wearing red and donating £2 to the Trust.

“As a Hollybank ‘Champion’, I thought it was important to get every member of staff involved with the ‘Wear Red’ day – it seems the least we could do given the support they have given us this season,” Boothy explained.

“It seemed fitting that their staff should wear our away shirt – after all, it has the Hollybank logo on and is predominantly red!

“Everyone at Huddersfield Town is always happy to support the Hollybank Trust; the work they undertake is invaluable and deserves all the support it can get.”
