ESSMA is a professional organisation that allows stadium and safety managers to exchange know-how and experience with the objective to develop a framework of best practices in the sports industry.

Their aim is to collect technical information for operations and safety management on a European scale allowing the exchange of information to lead to greater awareness of the latest techniques and developments in niche markets focused on the organisation of stadiums. In addition, members have access to a larger network of stadium and safety managers.

Paul Anderson, President of ESSG and Board Member at ESSMA said “We are delighted to be working closely with Soccerex. I think the European Forum will provide an important platform for our members to engage with the football industry and I look forward to networking with colleagues from across the continent.”

The Soccerex European Forum is a two-day event which is returning to Manchester for a second year at the Manchester Central and will see the elite of Europe’s football industry come together to debate, network and do business.

The agenda announced so far includes topics such as the German football model, financial equality, commercial challenges to differing sized clubs, successful sponsorship, digital media and fan interaction and Eastern Europe’s upcoming tournaments and market development.
