World Cup & Olympic Winner joins Leaders in Performance
Tue 10th Aug 2010 | Football Industry Events
Leaders in Performance, the international conference dedicated to the identification, development and management of talent, taking place for the second time on 7th October 2010 at Chelsea FC London, is delighted to announce that Dave Reddin, Performance Consultant to the British Olympic Association and former member of English Rugby Team backroom staff, will be speaking on a panel based around analysis in sport.
Sharing his expertise in a session dubbed “The numbers never lie: How analysis leads to certainty in a changing word”, Reddin will discuss human performance and how analysing the mind, biomechanics, time motion ratios, speed and agility can get the most out of players. The session will also cover what level of due diligence is necessary to successfully identify, develop and manage talent.
Reddin was a key member of the RFU and England Rugby Team during the most successful period in England Rugby history, which culminated with success at the 2003 Rugby World Cup. He left the RFU and rugby in 2006 after 2 World Cups, 1 Lions tour, 10 Six Nations Championships and over 100 international test matches. During his time, he implemented the England Rugby injury audit project, the most comprehensive study of injury in professional sport so far conducted.
In his current role as a performance consultant to the British Olympic Association, Reddin helps to develop the next generation of elite athletes.
