The Role

Based at the training ground, we are looking to appoint a full-time assistant to support the Club’s Sporting and Technical Director/Chief Executive and Head Coach.

The role has four distinctive elements:

  • Responsibility for organising travel and logistical requirements for all first team away matches and pre-season tours. The position requires the candidate to locate, establish and, if necessary, visit suitable venues and accommodation for first team away games and the pre-season tour.
  • Player liaison and Player’s family liaison support for new and existing players. This includes, but is not limited to, facilitating the player and their families’ domestic requirements, particularly new signings and foreign players to enable them and their families to settle into the local area.
  • Organising and dealing with football operations at the training ground, including canteen, kit sourcing, laundry and administration.
  • Football sector research and bench-marking.

You will be required to work weekends and some evenings.

The Requirement

The successful candidate will be highly organised and have administrative experience, with good working knowledge of all MS Office applications to include Word, Excel, Power-Point and Outlook.

You will have experience in working in professional football.

You should also be able to demonstrate an ability to organise and arrange group travel in this country or abroad for businesses or sport clubs.

Experience in speaking foreign languages is desirable but not essential.

Remuneration

A competitive salary, bonus scheme, car allowance and pension are available to the successful candidate.
