Corby Town sign Business Club Partnership
Tue 10th Jan 2012 | Marketing & PR
Corby Town FC have announced a business partnership with Nottinghamshire-based company Meadow Hampton.
The deal will see supporters receive a 5% discount on their range of products, with a commitment by the company to spend a further 10% of each transaction with the club in the form of sponsorship.
The business also has a division that trades in signed sporting memorabilia, particularly from the football market and can source autographed shirts from some of the world's greatest players, past and present.
Vice-Chairman Graham Starmer explained: "We are very excited about this somewhat unique opportunity. This is exactly the sort of arrangement we are hoping to generate through our new business club and we're grateful that Meadow Hampton have agreed to be our first member, and to provide a deal that promises to save supporters a few pounds, but one that at the same time will generate income for the club.
"The more fans purchase from Meadow Hampton, the more the club will benefit so it's very much a case of saying to our supporters, if you're looking to purchase an item like this (or you know someone who is), if you do it through a club partner like Meadow Hampton, you'll not only get a good value deal but you'll also be making money for the club at the same time - something we hope can only be good for everyone involved."
The company is the first to take advantage of the recently launched Steelmen Business Club, a networking opportunity for businesses who back the club. With three tiers of membership - bronze, silver and gold - and all members will benefit from the opportunity to attend a monthly breakfast meeting at Steel Park, as well as receiving a listing in the match programme and club website.
