Tue 6th Dec 2011 | Football Stadiums & Facilities
fcbusiness are delighted to announce it has formed a working relationship with the Sports And Play Construction Association (SAPCA).
SAPCA is the recognised trade association for the sports and play construction industry in the UK. Its role is to foster excellence, professionalism and continuous improvement throughout the industry, in order to provide the high quality facilities needed at all levels of sport, physical activity, recreation and play.
Commencing with an interview with SAPCA Chief Executive, Chris Trickey in the next issue of fcbusiness magazine, Editor Ryan McKnight said, “SAPCA has a vital function in the infrastructure recovery football must continue to undertake.
“I think it is going to be very interesting for our readers to hear exactly what SAPCA are doing to ensure that, in such challenging times, the momentum towards greater efficiency, quality of product and service not only remains be continues to evolve.
“I’ll also be inviting Chris to discuss some of the things that SAPCA and its members believe the industry as a whole could do more of to aid the construction process of football-related facilities.”
Speaking of the partnership, Chris Trickey said, “Football is clearly a key sport for the industry, and it is vital that we position SAPCA and its members in the right channels to make sure that we are being heard as loud as possible – we believe that fcbusiness can help us to achieve that.”
McKnight added, “fcbusiness is indeed looking to build long term 'best-practice sharing' relationships with all of the game's key stakeholder groups. The development of grassroots and professional football related facilities is very much at the core of the game's and fcbusiness' thinking and therefore it is imperative that SAPCA and fcbusiness look to do more work together to force through the best possible results for the game.”
As part of the new working relationship with SAPCA, fcbusiness is offering SAPCA members special rates on advertising. The deadline for the next issue is the 9 December. To find out more please call Tom Deedigan on 0191 442 4014 of email tdeedigan@fcbusiness.co.uk
