Trio of clubs given stay of execution

Portsmouth, Cardiff and Southend have all been given more time to pay their debts by the High Court today.
Portsmouth have been given until 1600 GMT on 17 February to file a "statement of financial affairs" proving it will be able to pay its creditors.
Cardiff City FC have had their case adjourned for 28 days after a second winding-up order over a reported £2.7 million tax bill.
Southend have also had their case adjourned for 28 days. They are in dispute with HMRC who claim the club owes over £205,000. The club, who paid £2.5 million to HMRC earlier this season claims that it does not owe the outstanding balance.
All three clubs now face a battle to raise the funds to cover the debt and stay in business.
