Tottenham Hotspur FC could have up to four shirt sponsors
Tue 6th Jul 2010 | Football Sponsorship
Premier League football club Tottenham Hotspur could have up to four different shirt sponsors for the new season after so far failing to improve the £8.5 million-a-year deal with Mansion that ran out at the end of last season.
The result would see the club’s shirts displaying the names of different sponsors in the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and Carling Cup.
The club has also been working along the lines of neighbours Arsenal’s arrangement with Emirates to gain a combined naming rights and shirt deal for their new 56,000 stadium which is planned to be ready in two year’s time.
However, any shirt deals will need to be done quickly if Tottenham are to start the new season with a sponsor on any of their kits.
A Tottenham spokesman said: “We are working hard to deliver international partnerships for the club, improved operations and choice for the fans. Increased commercial deals will translate into investment in all areas of the club – on and off the pitch.”
