Signage firm OMM have agreed a deal to become an official supplier of the England 2018 bid to host the FIFA World Cup according to sportspromedia.com.
OMM’s five specialist division will provide the bid team with a variety of services. These will include large format digital print such as banners and support signage, as well as graphic design and new media development incorporating the creation of LED animations for the various LED perimeter systems around the Premier League and the OMM system at Wembley Stadium.
Mike O’Neill, the chairman and owner of OMM, said: “OMM are delighted to be supporting the bid for the 2018 World Cup. Our long relationship with both the Football Association and Wembley Stadium made it an easy decision for us to become an official supplier. The bid team will be able to make good use of our wide range of services as provided by OMMPrint, OMMdesign, OMMsport and OMMmovingmedia “
England 2018 chief executive Andy Anson added: “OMM will provide valuable support during our build up to the decision in December and we’re delighted to have them on board.”
David Beckham will be on hand to present the England 2018 technical bid book to FIFA president Sepp Blatter in Zurich tomorrow. FIFA will announce the hosts of the FIFA World Cup in 2018 and 2022 after a vote by its Executive Committee in December.
