Hull City players hold talks with PFA over pay cut

The Professional Footballers' Association have held emergency talks with Hull City players after they were asked to take a pay cut.
The offer was made by Hull's new head of football operations Adam Pearson, who wants to reduce their wage bill.
John Bramhall of the PFA told BBC Look North: "We are aware of the situation and have spoken to the players today.
"We are awaiting more information from the club [about finances] and will speak again to the players."
Earlier Pearson said: "We have talked to the players and they are going away to think about it. The players were given those contracts, they didn't ask for them."
Hull City have debts of £35m and have appointed an insolvency expert onto their board as they try to address their financial problems and avoid administration.
They have publicly stated that they needed to slash their wage bill if they were relegated from the Premier League.
The club have also met manager Phil Brown, who has been on gardening leave since March, when it is expected he will be given the offer of a severance package.
