Morecambe Football Club has netted a new sponsorship deal.

The club has sealed a new agreement with local car dealership Hargreaves Garages Chevrolet & Vauxhall, who will be promoting the Chevrolet arm of their business on the Shrimps' website-www.morecambefc.com.
It is the first major deal of its type for the Shrimps web brand which continues to grow in terms of readership and content.
Mark Dixon, the Shrimps' Commercial Director, said: "This is the first deal of its type for the club and we are proud to have a firm as highly regarded in the area as Hargreaves Garages to sponsor us.
"Hargreaves have been big supporters of the club in recent years, sponsoring Sammy McIlroy's car, and we are delighted to be able to extend that agreement.''
David Wilkinson. Director from Hargreaves said: "Like us Morecambe Football Club has gone from strength to strength over the last few years and we are really happy to support the club in this way, especially with the imminent move to the new Globe arena.''
David went on to say that digital marketing is the way forward and Chevrolet are especially interested in promoting their brand within this media.
"We know the website is the first point of call for information relating to Morecambe Football Club and we are sure that this sponsorship will be a beneficial one.
