Nando's to sponsor Northampton Town matchday mascots

Northampton Town Football Club have announced that restaurant chain Nando's will be the official Matchday Mascot sponsor for the 2011/12 season.
Clive Greening, General Manager of Nando's Northampton, said, "We are a family restaurant and we know that the matchday mascot package at Northampton Town Football Club has a reputation for offering a fantastic day out for young supporters, just like we do. It was an obvious scheme to support and we hope that we can help enrich the experience for young Cobblers fans.
"A lot of the staff and customers at Nando's are big Cobblers fans and we have been watching the new arrivals at the club over the summer with great interest. We believe this will be an exciting season and we hope to see many Northampton Town fans here in the restaurant through the season, celebrating another three points making the most of the 10% discount offered on the matchday 50:50 tickets."
David Cardoza, Chairman of Northampton Town Football Club, added, "We have a number of new partners coming on board this summer, and we are delighted to welcome Nando's as one of those partners.
“They are a big name in Northampton town centre, and like our matchday mascot package, they have a growing reputation in the local community. I am sure all of our supporters will be delighted at the link up and I hope they will offer their support by being regular visitors to the Nando's restaurant on Wood Hill in Northampton town centre."
