Tue 19th Jan 2010 | Football Club Administration

Breaking News: Portsmouth Football Club have appeal to overturn winding up order has been dismissed by the High Court.

Portsmouth who are struggling in the Premier League face a winding up order after failing to pay a number of creditors including many Premier League clubs and the HMRC.

The Premier League announced earlier this week that it would use the TV money that Portsmouth are due to recieve for their participation in the league this season to pay the clubs which are owed for previous transfers. Portsmouth have threaten to sue the Premier League over this decision.
