QPR majority shareholder Bernie Ecclestone would be prepared to sell his stake in the club for £100million.
The west London outfit are poised to seal promotion to the Barclays Premier League, and Formula One racing supremo Ecclestone believes that makes them a valuable asset.
However, he also said that Italian businessman Flavio Briatore, a former F1 team principal, would have first option on any sale of his 62% holding.
Ecclestone told The Guardian: "If somebody bought that team today it would be a very good punt. It is probably worth £100million.
"I don't have any choice staying in or going out. Flavio would probably be the one to sell if anybody...It is dependent on Flavio."
Ecclestone believes the Rangers board have recruited wisely and have a better squad balance than many other clubs in the npower Championship.
"You see a lot of these clubs today that are nowhere near as high in the league as we are, playing people that have fallen from the top and beating them, so there is no need to spend these fortunes," he said.
