County FA announces Errea Cup sponsorship deal

Sheffield & Hallamshire FA are proud to announce that official kit suppliers Errea have agreed to sponsor a county cup competition for season 2011/12.
Next season over 120 teams will compete in The Errea Youth U16 Challenge Cup competition across the Sheffield & Hallamshire FA region. The deal comes within the first year of the sponsorship agreement between the Italian Sportswear manufacturer in partnership with Sheffield based Kitlocker.com to be the official kit and retail supplier of Sheffield & Hallamshire FA.
Errea will be providing a significant prize fund for finalists and as part of this sponsorship agreement all Errea Youth Cup matches will be played with the official Errea match ball. The Errea Steam Revolution match ball is FIFA inspected and will ensure consistently in playing standards and competitiveness across the competition. Sheffield & Hallamshire FA will be subsidising the cost of purchasing some of these balls for all clubs entered into the competition.
James Hope-Gill, Chief Executive for Sheffield & Hallamshire FA said “This cup sponsorship agreement further strengthens the relationship between Errea, Kitlocker.com and Sheffield & Hallamshire FA. Following the first year of the kit partnership it is fantastic that they have committed additional support to our prestigious county cup competitions and the development of grassroots football. In addition Clubs will benefit through having access to a high quality ball at a low price.
The Errea Steam Revolution match ball will be used for all the 2010/11 County Cup Finals kicking off with the Women’s Final on the 20th March. All finalist clubs will receive two balls at the end of the final.
